Mountainside makes every effort to process orders as fast as possible. Since Mountainside Jewelry is run entirely by one person and each piece is made by hand, please allow 2-8 weeks for your order to be processed. When items are already in stock, shipping should take place within the week. If your order is time sensitive, please contact me to make arrangements. Also note that there may be slight variations in your handmade piece that do not appear in the product photos. This is what makes your piece unique! For wholesale inquiries or other questions, or if you would like to custom order a piece, please feel free to inquire about possibilities here.
Do not wear your jewelry while swimming, bathing, or cleaning. Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes and oils. The jewelry you are purchasing is made to last, but like most handmade items, it is delicate. Please note that bronze, brass, and sterling silver metals naturally develop a patina over time, which can be a gorgeous and unique transformation of your jewelry. To brighten these metals, use a high quality polishing cloth like the one found here. Do not use jewelry cleaner or polishing clothes on gold plated items. All jewelry should be worn and treated with love & care.
Sliced Stone Collection:
All of the Sliced Stone pieces should be worn and handled with extra care! The stones have been specifically chosen to use because of their unique, natural properties which feature unusual or rough texture, inclusions, and coloring that can differ from stone to stone. Many of the gemstones will crack, shatter or break if dropped or hit against a hard surface. Avoid contact with water or other liquids. Store and wear these pieces with that in mind.
All orders are shipped via USPS Mail with tracking and delivery confirmation. Order costs are a flat rate of $5 plus $1 per additional item, these cost reflect shipping costs, packaging, and time. Shipping for International orders is $12 via USPS First Class International. Shipping can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks to arrive depending on customs.

If you're unhappy with your jewelry you can return it for a store credit within 7 days. Return requests must be made within seven days from receipt of delivery. Refunds will only apply if the piece is damaged. Customer is responsible for return shipping cost both ways. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, address and invoice number and explanation. Please allow 4-7 days after receipt of merchandise to process your return. The best effort is used to accurately describe/portray all items online; please ask any questions you may have about an item before placing your order.
Please confirm appropriate sizing for rings or any other customized pieces prior to placing your online order. If you wish to return a ring for a different size, there will be a $20 resizing charge, so please be sure to double check your ring size before placing an online order.
For repairs please contact email@example.com with a note explaining what needs to be repaired. If the repair is a result of undue wear and tear then there will be a small fee applied. There is a 1 year repair warranty with all Mountainside jewelry. I also offer repairs on all other sorts of jewelry, forward me a photo of the piece and I will get back to you with options and an estimate of costs.
